Julie Joohee Jeon is a young passionate composer, singer-songwriter, musician and conductor. Julie was born in South Korea, then she moved to Vancouver, Canada at the age of 13. She studied classical voice in Capilano University and University of Calgary. She achieved a certificate of conducting from Capilano University, and Bachelor of Music in integrated studies with studying voice performance and music education in University of Calgary. Julie conducted school bands, and her own church ensemble and choir. Her own composition works for special occasion services were performed under her directing. She was an assistant music director and actress in a musical association called “Hessed”.
Julie is a versatile composer who has an ability to write and perform in different musical genres from classical orchestral to Jazz and Pop. Currently, she is studying film scoring at New York University.
